Vista Alegre is a property of 14.5 acres (55K sqm), set amidst a pine forest where wild rosemary abounds. A dry river bed rich with birdlife forms the boundary. The estate includes not only olive and almond trees but also figs, pomegranates and both wine and eating grapes. Our olives are harvested and the oil can be bought at the local cooperative.
One of only fifteen masias, (traditional Spanish farmhouses) Vista Alegre is located along the beautiful scenic route between Ibi and Alcoi in the Vinalopo region.
Situated on the outskirts of the charming town of Ibi, with views of the Parc Natural del Carrascar de la Font Roja, this late 19th Century building was lovingly renovated in 2005.
Original features have been restored and natural materials used. Wherever possible the walls are part exposed stone and part sand-coloured render combined elegantly with solid wood ceiling beams and tiled flooring capturing the atmosphere of the past.
