Dear Vista Alegre

We are writing to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Vista Alegre. We loved walking among the olive and almond trees and got much pleasure from our visits to the town. The apartments are very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a really great holiday. We really felt we were in the depths of the Spanish countryside but appreciated being so close to the high life of Alicante and other towns. We’ll definitely be back!

Vista Alegre was such a great holiday.
Carol and I were delighted with our large cool room, facilities and all the info you provided. Your pix hardly do justice to the swimming pool and walks within the 14 acres of your property.

We'd strongly recommend anyone who'd like to get a flavour of the REAL Spain to stay...IBI is a delightful market town just a fifteen to twenty minute walk across the valley. The local restaurants were excellent and truly excellent value...not to mention those ice cream and coffee shops...and the local market and fashion stores made someone very happy...

We enjoyed exploring...empty motorways! ... To really interesting places!

Thoroughly recommend Vista Alegre as a TOTALLY relaxing experience.

I have stayed at Vista Alegre several times and it is a delightful haven in the summer and the winter.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the swimming pool and its surrounds are welcoming in hot weather, it is enchanting to lie in the pool and be surrounded by wonderful views of forests and hills.

The grounds are safely enclosed but are spacious enough to go for walks or play hide and seek or football.

There are plenty of markets, restaurants and places of interest within a reasonable distance of Vista Alegre and it is served by an excellent road system which is not so busy that the noise intrudes.

Vista Alegre is a place to relax, chill out and recharge your batteries.

We have spent four very relaxing holidays at Vista Alegre, which is a superbly restored traditional Spanish masia. The apartments are luxuriously appointed and well maintained. There is a large pool in the extensive grounds, which is the focus of most days. Alongside the pool is an elegant pool-house. There are lovely mountain views from here. There are olive and other fruit trees on the estate, which are all being sensitively tended. Between the house and the pool there is a pretty wooded area. It is particularly pleasant to use the hammocks in the shade here.

The centre of the nearby town of Ibi is twenty minutes’ walk away. Its covered market is open Monday to Saturday. It has excellent fresh fish, meat, fruit and cheese. There are two tapas bars in the market also.

Alicante is forty minutes’ drive away for shops and beaches, and the charming, typical Spanish town of Alcoy is only twenty minutes away. This is a particularly pretty trip.

We would thoroughly recommend Vista Alegre as a great place to relax, swim, read and stroll. You will hear the goat bells most days, and the hoopoe at times too. The evenings are very pleasant. They are perfect for eating outside. The clear skies make for good star-gazing and beautiful sunsets.

My husband and I just want to thank you for the kind hospitality you showed us during our recent stay at Vista Alegre. The apartment was spotless and we really appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. You did a great job of anticipating the needs of your guests. Everything inside was of a high standard and very tastefully presented.

Vista Alegra is best seen in real life. The location is peaceful and relaxing, set in the hills. Ibi, just a 15 minute walk away, was charming. A great place for a stroll and coffee al fresco and a good array of shops.

We really enjoyed spending time in the swimming pool every afternoon. It was so inviting. And a stroll through the pine forest is something not to be missed. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was lovely. We had a very relaxing time.

Can’t wait to return!
